Peters' Bakery - San Jose

I recently ordered a cake and a dozen cupcakes for a party and my guests were absolutely in love with the burnt almond. It was a hit! The person who helped me customize the cake was patient and did whatever she could to make sure my request was handled carefully. I can't wait to be back to order other desserts from here. What a hidden gem!

This is the absolute best bakery! The burnt is almond cake is so delicious! The pastrys are so soft and the filling is always fresh and not too sweet. Definitely worth the two hours of a drive!

Long time San José favorite. It's worth the wait in line. Best known for their burnt almond pieces. Many items to choose from and all of them are great. Parking can be tricky but usually it works out after a few minutes. The strawberry ring is delicious. We get one every time we are in town.

Unbelievably Awesome !!! Not just the preparation, but the prices as well. This was our first time at the bakery, and we are going back very soon. Whats left on the plate is the last of 5 items we got 10 minutes ago

I am so happy to say the service and friendliness Peters' Bakery has been consistent. Visits here are always guaranteed to take quite a bit of time due to the bakery's popularity the guaranteed long lines but the interactions with the staff is always enjoyed. I am currently gearing up for my daughter's 3rd birthday and reached out to PB via Instagram about a potential cake design I was hoping to have made. The response took a few days but I delighted to know my design could easily be accomplished. I was advised to bring in a photo of the design so the cake decorators could use as reference.I made my way to the bakery this past Saturday and was greeted. The lady must have been new so she directed me over to Liz regrading my cake ordering needs. I explained everything and provided her the copy of the cake image. Liz was really detailed and made notes for all of my requests. She made sure to read back all of the details including the birthday message that was to be listed on the cake. We decided on the time of pick up and I had the option of paying everything in full or putting down half as a deposit. 5/5 stars! Placing orders [big or small] is so easy. I cannot wait to see how the cake turns out will most definitely be posting pictures of the finished product.
