Minato Japanese Cuisine - San Jose

Large simple Japanese cuisine, reasonable price and generous portions. Good selection of daily specialties. Very delicious!

This is in the heart of japantown on Jackson Street so there are actually about six other Japanese restaurants on that one block. That being said this is my favorite overall. It has good sushi and good hot food and seems pretty authentic. There are always a group of old Japanese friends that hang out there on Friday nights which is a good sign. The menu is extensive and priced well.Staff is very friendly and attentive and the food comes out relatively quick. The only downside is that it's not a very big dining room.

Nice place for Japanese food. The service has treated us so friendly. The prices were good for how much you get. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Atlanta.

Yummy tempura and cook selected Sushi Plates! The interior is incapable compared to the inviting exterior. The three menus are super confusing as they overlap in some categories. Total delicious meal on nice Japantown street.
