Firehouse No. 1 Gastropub - San Jose

I can't review the food since we left after incredibly poor serivce from the host. We had a reservation and were offered a seat right by the open front door near the bar or on the less than appealing front patio. The main reason we left was because of the host's approach, which was condescending and smart alecky. I am usually tolerant, but Firehouse was just vibeless. We ended up going to District next door and was treated with respect and conviviality. The food and service there was top notch.

Food is way over priced, the most money I've ever spent on a hamburger.

Both are waiter and maître d’ kept checking on us to make sure everything was to our liking, and it was. The food was great, and so are the cocktails. Will definitely come back again!

The food was delicious. The menu had many delicious options. The drinks were great. The service was spectacular. Got in earlier than reservation and was taken in without any problems. Not crowded at all on Friday evening 5:30pm this night so had place relatively empty for my expectations. Better for us. Service was spectacular. Again food was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant and the location was excellent. Parking easy. Great experience. Will return again. Did I mention the food was delicious.

Always a great experience. The muscles are my favorite! Great drinks. Everyone there always gives great customer service.
