Boba Ave 8090 - San Gabriel

Until the end of the year, they're running a buy one get one on most of their milk teas which I think is an absolute steel considering you'll walk out paying probably around $6 for two drinks that are pretty good quality. I tried the Hokkaido, and it was pretty good though I think it came from a powder base. The other one was standard Thai milk tea which did not disappoint. The guy behind the bar was super helpful and answered all my questions with the aplomb.

This girl who took my order told me 20 minutes wait and I know exactly why. When my drink was ready, she left my drink at the counter without calling the order of my drink of other people's drinks that were ALSO READY. Instead, she disturbed her co-worker who was having his lunch break and would even stare at the cash register guy knowing the drinks were ready for I'm not sure what reason. Super in-efficient in handling orders and drinks because a drink should not take a 20 minute wait especially if I didn't even order boba with my drink, or even a large. I don't mind waiting for my drinks, but it's infuriating to be waiting because the workers are incompetent and fooling around.

I use to get tea at this place all the time and the service wasn't too bad. The service is the worst now, teach your employees to at least pretend they know what good customer service is. Never going back.

Having me wait 20+ Minutes for a drink and popcorn chicken. Staff seems to run on their own time. First and last time I come here.

Cute place that's good for hanging out. But very limited drink choices and slow service. Cool that they have a buy one get one free deal for 2023 to celebrate their anniversary. This is my 2nd time here and I won't be coming back again.
