Make sure you book though as we dis the first time we went and the second time we went we couldn't get in as we didn't have a reservation...its super popular. We ordered way to much, but everything we ate was delicious. It's a real treat.
We spent May 2019 visiting the beautiful Salento region. We wanted to do this in a way that allowed us to engage with its wonderful people as “locals”. Our “home” base was close to San Donato di Lecce. We were fortunate to discover Da Bruna early in our stay and we became regulars! With a warm welcome from the family and staff as well as from the regular patrons, we discovered and enjoyed their excellent preparation and presentation of regional dishes and pizza.
This restaurant is situated in a sleepy enviroment, maby not so easy to find. The food is like one would wish it to bee in Italy. Everything brought to the table was new in taste and typically local food. The ladies cooking and serving made us feel like we had known eachother a long time. Like our italian family. The kitchen and the diningroom were clean and nice.
La qualità del cibo è ottima, il servizio non è affrettato.
Il ristorante è molto pulito, offre ottimi pasti e il personale è estremamente gentile. Si respira un'atmosfera familiare.
