Contribuiți la feedbackOur party of three required reservations, which they diligently followed up with texts. I was not expecting much as I is essentially a pizza place, but I was surprised by the prompt personal attention and service that we received straightaway. Heather was cheerful, informative, and diligent. The decor is interesting. It is a an old converted Post Office which is now an open floor with an open kitchen behind a glass barrier. The place was lively. We ordered 2 13-inch pizzas and a kale salad which we split. I'm not a fan of kale (my wife is) but it was surprisingly tasty. The pizzas, a Margherita and a Mushroom Whitestone 2.0 were outstanding. I had the Tribute lager beer, and my son had an Old Fashioned. The cool ambiance, great service, and excellent food does not come without a price, however. Our bill came to $90, and with tip for the great service add 22+ . Overall a great experience and good time. I'll be going back.
Saw the reviews and thought I should give it a try. The place looked good. Staff were great. Pizza menus were cool. Decided to try a couple. They used good ingredients. One of the pizza was ok the other one was burnt in the bottom so had a bitter taste. Mistakes do happen but don’t serve burnt pizza. It is not cool to let good ingredients go to waste. I hope they pay more attention.
Very cool place. Obviously extremely popular (make a reservation). The hostess and my server were excellent. The restroom needs more attention. Overflowing paper and obviously not cleaned regularly. It wasn’t totally disgusting, but had kind of the vibes of those toilets on a discount airline flight. You know what I mean? The ones where the flight attendants never touch the lavatories. Anyway, I loved that they have good vegan pizzas. As a former non-vegan and pizza lover, I am on a constant quest to find a great vegan pizza. They are few and far between. This was one of the better places I have tried (if you want vegan options, ask for their separate vegan menu). I assume their non-vegan pizzas are also good. HOWEVER, this restaurant is very over-priced. I kind of tried to forgive the expensive pizza because it was actually quite good. But the $18 mediocre salad was ridiculously overpriced. Oh, and the $18 salad was their small size! If you don’t care about what things cost, go for it. It’s pretty good pizza. Not the best I’ve ever had. But it’s solidly good. The drinks are also very expensive. Everything there is overpriced. I realize San Diego isn’t a cheap place to go out in, but even for SD it’s really expensive. Hip atmosphere. Good service.
I loved my pizza today in San Diego I had the honor to cook next to tribute pizza before but it’s the first time trying it
I absolutely love this place! Been there a couple of times now we’ve had the Focaccia, Sangria, tie-dye and mushroom whitestone pizza. Everything has been great especially the tie dye pizza and focaccia with garlic confit. I also want to give a special shoutout to the servers, they are so warm, friendly and excellent at their job by giving wonderful recommendations and service. Unfortunately I don’t remember their names but I’ll be sure to ask them and update this review when I go next! Xoxo
