Stella Italian Fare Utc - San Diego

I had the pleasure of going to this quaint little Italian restaurant yesterday. After being seated by the owner of the family owned and run establishment we were quickly served by the waitress Sam (Samantha) who was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also the ingredients and how the meals were prepared. We started with a Calamari Fritti and then I had the daily special, a veal piccata, while the wife had a Tortellini alla Bosciola with cheese tortellini. Both of these meals and the appetizer were to absolutely to die for. To top this off the wife had a lemon cake desert while I ordered the traditional tiramisu with black coffee. With the clean and pleasant atmosphere, wonderful service, and authentic Italian food (All at a reasonable price) I was transformed back to my time in Rome. Grazie mille.

My fiancé and I love Stella UTC. It is our favorite date night spot. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely nice and welcoming and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Absolutely loved this place! Loved the management and the servers. And the food was amazing! I was eating here a few nights when I was visiting from Los Angeles where I live. I ended up ordering everything haha! Love everyone and love this place I will be returning again when I visit San Diego again!

'Stella DID get her groove back!! ' Under new ownership and management, I can tell the new owner takes great pride in his restaurant bc it shows in the food and services. The fresh ingredients from freshly made pastas to one of a kind salami chocolate dessert are impeccable. It 's as close to having dinner in Italy as you can get. Every month the restaurant has a dinner event which happens to be tonight! Enjoy 5 courses with wine pairing for only $60/person. Come tonight and experience the authenticity of Italian food in San Diego. We love this place so much so tipped the waiter $40
