Sizzler Imperial Ave - San Diego

We visited on Veterans Day, and as Navy veterans, we were treated to a complimentary steak, baked potato, cheese bread, drinks, and a free salad bar for our next visit! It was easily the most enjoyable meal of the day, as the restaurant wasn’t crowded and the staff was very attentive. Our meals were cooked to perfection, and Daniel, our server, brought us cheese toast and ensured our drinks were always topped off. We were even given cards signed by the staff thanking us for our service. Thank you, Sizzler!

This is an outstanding spot for both lunch and dinner! Whether you're dining solo or with family and friends, the food and service are both fantastic. I can't wait to return! The food was good, but not as contemporary as many other recently renovated places. The cashier seemed unsure of her knowledge; we asked for a one-trip salad bar, and she told us they didn't offer that option. So, we ended up ordering a full salad bar and a side salad. However, she later handed us a salad bowl that was essentially a one-trip salad bar, which is actually what the receipt indicated. If we had known, we would have ordered two one-trip salads instead of paying for a full one.

So many Sizzlers close so well to find a in general area. My favorite California chicken. And who can resist the cheese bread. It was busy, but the order line went pretty fast. The staff was very friendly and prompt when we needed something. I hope they stay open.

Great restaurant. Delicious food, good service. A nice place to take the family. They have a buffet salad bar again.
