Had chipotle shrimp tacos with cheese, grilled fish tacos and fish tacos. I appreciated that they had many varieties of tacos! Food was tasty! Regular fish tacos (not the grilled fish) was my favorite of all three tacos!Waiter was nice, courteous and helpful!Restaurant also had many seats and a bar!Overall good experience! ? Thank you Serrano’s
The food was great, nice decor, friendly staff. A bit loud and dark, we had to yell at each other to have a conversation. If I had to re-on food alone it would have been a five. Margaritas were aesthetically pleasing and very tasty. We had the grilled octopus and some tortilla chips with four different kinds of very flavor for salsa. I had a garlic shrimp taco with guacamole, it was so good. My daughter-in-law had the fish tacos and my son had Carne Asada tacos. We were all very pleased with our choices, delicious. Service was a bit slow but very friendly. It was busy, but not overly busy.
The street Tacos are delicious . The Margaritas are on point!
Before coming, I read all the latest reviews and not going to lie; it kind of deterred me from going and made me question if I wanted to give this place a try since the reviews are heavy on the quality of food and lack thereof service. I'm so glad I did give this place a try though. So good I'm writing a review the same night lol. We came here today on Tuesday for their all you can eat tacos for $15/person from 5pm-10pm. You get 4 options of birria, carnitas, carne asada, and al pastor with 3 tacos at a time. I only had 2 rounds and barely scathed through my 5-6th taco. I tried everything except carnitas. The birria was okay and the carne asada wasn't bad. My favorite would have to be el pastor it was seasoned just right. Not to mention their salsas are pretty good! They bring out 3; Serrano, Japanese, and cilantro jalapeño. Beware: the Japanese is overly salty and spicy. I loved the 2 green sauces though. Not only did I take advantage of ayce tacos but I was also there in time for happy hour from 3pm-6pm. They had specials on beers and wine for $5. The 2 classic $8 margaritas that I had were very basic and not strong at all but they paired with the tacos very well. They also had 50% off all appetizers which I think is a steal but I didn't bother since I did ayce. Parking can be a hassle since you are in the heart of downtown but since I got there at 5pm, there was plenty of meter parking and it was pretty empty inside besides a few people which I'm glad of. There were 3-4 good servers that all asked to help us out at different times so that was a huge plus and the food came our fairly quick. An hour in, a lot more people did start trickling in and they did get a bit busier but they were all really helpful and still attentive. $15 for ayce tacos is a bang for your buck especially is such a touristy part of downtown and their food is really authentic for a sit-down restaurant than I'm used to. Even without their ayce deal they still have a pretty good deal of 3/$10 tacos. Will definitely be back with my appetite!
