Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - San Diego

I was hungry the other day and decided to go drive thru Popeyes bc I've heard great things about their fried chicken. My partner and I both ordered meals (sandwiches, French fries, and a drink). When we got to the window we asked for a sauce for each of us and they informed us that it costs to get sauce. NOT EXTRA SAUCE, bc we had not gotten ANY. When we asked the lady if we're expected to eat our sandwiches and fries with no sauce they told us we needed to pay for sauce if we really wanted it. I can understand paying for extra sauce if we ordered but the fact that we had no sauce to begin with is ridiculous. We had to eat our food with no sauce, just dry, seco, así sin nada. I will not be coming back, I will be going to fast food chains that provide the first sauces for free bc the meal SHOULD INCLUDE IT. We paid over $30 for our meal and we couldn't even get sauces. Insert heavy eye roll.

Food was great hott and ready to order but damn they need to stop being cheap and run the air conditioner. It's hard to enjoy food when your whipping sweat off your face .

For the down home southern craving that hits about once a month.... Louisiana goodness!
