Pizza On 5th - San Diego

The food at this restaurant was not worth the high price. I paid $20 for a mediocre gyro sandwich with no sides. To make matters worse, the food was served on flimsy paper plates. It seems like the only reason this place stays in business is because it preys on unsuspecting tourists and intoxicated patrons. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Pizza on the 5th consistently serves delicious food, particularly their pizza. They are also one of the few places that stay open past 2:00 am to satisfy the cravings of late-night partygoers.

This hidden gem offers generous portions of pizza, pasta, and affordable prices. I tried the Ravioli and it was outstanding. The sauce was bursting with tomato and herb flavors, absolutely delicious! Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior or simple interior. The staff are genuine Italians and the food is authentic. This place serves up comforting dishes, not fancy presentations.

Friendly hostesses in the front, but as soon as we sit, it was all down. Our server lacked patience and the food was best. We had a piece of Pesto chicken pizza and buffalo chicken pizza with some Calamari. Pizza was tasteless and the Calamari was roasted as hard as a golf ball. Maybe a day for them....we hope.

I was on my way home from visiting friends and since i live by and walk by it daily decided to try their food so i ordered the spaghetti and meatball meal with a coke i give it 4 stars instead of five because 1 they forgot the garlic bread and ihad to ask for garlic bread usually restaurants give garlic bread with meal and the coke was in a bottle with a little cup the speghetti had very small and not too many meatballs but it was good but the presentation was not up to par but it was a good meal altogether
