Morning Glory is absolutely incredible. A must visit! Between the unique and delicious dishes to the incredible aesthetic and vibe this place is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. All the staff are so kind and hardworking. Our seat and our food was absolutely worth the wait! I can’t wait to return again someday.
Went this week, on Tuesday after a holiday and therefore not too bad. Closes at 3pm and we arrived at 2pm. It was only a 20 minute wait. The place is small, but inviting and great place to take memorable pictures. I feel they should invest in updating their menu. It looks a little creepy with strange drawings. I understand every artist has their perspective. It just does not go with the style of the restaurant. My blueberry skillet pancakes and my son's pancakes were delicious and a large size. I was able to bring left overs home and share. I was also spying other's food choices and they did look yummy as well. In the pictures. The drink is a non alcoholic Bellini, which was delicious. I love peach and it was very peachy. Picture of my amazing Blueberry Skillet pancake. Picture of the patio downstairs. Morning Glory is to the right on the upstairs corner area.
Really awesome, trendy place with a pretty unique decor. The staff was super friendly, and I was able to get seated immediately. I had the souffle pancakes, which were delicious. Berries and cream were an extra charge though, and that wasn't explained on the menu or by the server $5 upcharge seems ridiculous, but I'm from the Midwest so that might be why). There a number of interesting twists in Asian foods. Definitely worth a try if you are visiting San Diego.
Went on a Monday, wait time was about 1hr but we walked around little Italy and it went by very quickly! Place is very aesthetic and the whole ambiance is very instagram-friendly. The food was delicious: we ordered the fried rice with pork belly (very generous portion, did not finish it) and the salmon eggs Benedict. Drinks were okay. Service was extremely slow; they were considerably packed so I expected some delays- but I would imagine they would have this better managed considering how popular the place is. Overall I would return here again, hoping it was a “one off” and drinks and service are better next time.
