Contribuiți la feedbackIn town for a conference at the Congress Centre. I was in the Gasmlamp district. We wanted a restaurant with seafood and sushi. Beautiful, spacious, modern dining room. Very helpful and friendly service. We had a few salads to start, salmon escape, lobster pasta escape and gnocchi w mushrooms. I also had an excellent Saki with my meal. Very good place for an upscale dinner in downtown San Diego.
Happy Hour Review: Weekday Happy Hour from 4-6pm. Specialties on drinks and bites. $1 Baja oysters were delicious and served with a balsamicum, lemon and mini tasco sauce. We ordered all available appetizers and my favorites from best recommended to at least we are: NY Steak Tataki- tasty and tasteful Seared Albacore- fresh, crisp and tasty. Crispy Rock Shrimp- sharp and crispy, an order cannot be enough. Duck confit tacos- felt like the taste was missing with four grass in this dish. A big happy hour and drinks experience. On Tuesday we were here and it was almost empty and quiet. Maybe a completely different experience on a padres game is day and Friday.

Great date night at Lionfish. Popular, busy and loud. A kind of fusion sushi modern kitchen approach, all we tried was really good. Great bartender for a cocktail before dinner. Good service, complete waiting staff was well trained and attentive. Good Saki list, good wine list, good food. Will definitely be back.
