Joe's Crab Shack - San Diego

The food and service were excellent. The strawberry margarita could have been a bit smoother. The crab legs were very fresh and had a delightful flavor.

I tried the Gumbo steam boiler and it was really delicious. The portion in the photo is for one person. The location is lovely, right next to the ferry. The food took a bit longer to arrive because they mentioned that the kitchen was busy. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for, and I would definitely come back. It's a great restaurant.

The service and staff were excellent. Don't hesitate to visit the bar area. I'm not a baseball fan, so I'm not sure if they were busy due to a Padres game.

We hit Joe's Crab Shack during Comic-con, every year, though not very often in between. We always enjoy it; the service is friendly and efficient, the food is good, and the price point is fine for the location. I've enjoyed the blackened chicken Caesar, the Voodoo chicken fingers, shrimp, crab, etc. The place is fully accessible, with van parking, ramps, etc.
