Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream - San Diego

Super good and not so sweet ice cream. Great variety of flavors and staff are good enough to give you samples of their delicious treats. You have a possibility of a flight of smaller cones, so you can buy small cones and enjoy a variety of flavors. Small place. Very clean and great staff.

I had the rocky rood ice cream, it's like a matcha vanila spin. It's pretty tasty, not too sweet. But some of their flavors are a hit and miss.

Had an explosion try some different flavors. We have a waffle cone flight and have tried 6 different flavors. Every taste was good in its own right. The store also remains open quite late, which lets us go when the desire meets.

I love her ice cream flight. It is an ingenious idea for people like me who cannot even finish a cup of ice cream, but love to taste a variety of different flavors. Friendly service.

Stopped by 30 minutes before closing so we were in and out in a few minutes since it wasn't busy.This place is located in the same plaza as Phil's BBQ so I imagine they occasionally are packed with customers.We ordered the mango sorbet and the POG (passionfruit, orange, guava) sorbet. Both were so good and refreshing!The decor inside was so cute. They had ice cream scoopers as wall decor. They had some seating inside and everything was clean and not sticky.I'd definitely recommend this spot!
