Golden Island, Dimsum Asian Cuisine

Beware they will chase you for tip. Our server chase us for extra tip but gratuity was included on our bill that’s crazy and it’s just the 4 of us. Our overall experience wasn’t that great they sat us and didn’t give us time to look at the menu there were like 3 people coming back and forth asking us questions we felt rushed and overwhelmed. The food was ok nothing special. It was our first time here.

Avoid this restaurant for dim sum. The dumplings were served lukewarm, and while some had decent flavor, they were not impressive overall. The prices are too high for the quality of food offered.

First time here, ordered take out. Service was good, food received in timely manner. Staff was nice when I arrived to pick up.Food was just OK... not bad/didn 't get ill, but not great. It looked fairly appealing, but didn 't standout from any other chinese restaurant. Flavor seemed little bland, oily.. Wasn 't too impressed with salt-n-pepper chicken wings, pork belly didn 't seem fresh (Wasn 't bad, but had that yesterday feel. . Dim sum seemed like bought frozen from Seafood city, not too much effort.Probably would pass next time. Imside of restaurant looked nice, but kind of empty. I have only really seen spurts of people come through here, when I pass by. Nothing consistent..

The dim sum was ice cold on the inside, not fully steamed, and clearly not freshly prepared! Additionally, the teapot was dirty. This was the worst dim sum I've ever experienced in San Diego. Yikes!
