The floor had pots and pans scattered, the sink was overflowing, and the operator never washed their hands. Chemicals were improperly stored above food on the prep rack, posing a risk of contamination. This place was a disaster. I strongly advise against going here. I was extremely sick.
Such a solid place. I was the only one here on a rainy, cold, windy day and Zach took care of me. He was super friendly. I would certainly stop by and try something here. Can't wait to come back and grab some poke!!Food: 5/5
Food is a bit strangeSushi rice had little or no vinegar in it. Ceviche tasted like it had soy sauce in it. Tacos are ok. Service was good though, it looks like the guy is trying, but needs to learn how to make these dishes properlyFood: 2/5
This place is bomb! freshest tuna i've had at any poke spot in san diego and the portions are generous with super fair pricing: i'll definitely be back soon
Zach is a phenomenal cook. we hired him for our private dinner party and everyone was obsessed. fish pit is the hands below the best seafood/sushi/fish taco.
