Filippi's Pizza Grotto Little Italy

EXCELLENT Food, great service, personable staff! Filippi 's is an amazing place to remember pizza in San Diego 's Little Italy. Pizza was extremely cheesy and slices were huge!! Head up the big salad is very expensive, but it is humiliated. I recommend eating there.

Amazing restaurant and atmosphere. Family friendly. The staff is very courteous and attentive. Definitely coming back for the amazing authentic Italian food and friendly staff. We ordered a pizza (enough for three people), ravioli (enough for two people), and a salad (enough for two people). Bread and butter was free.

One of the best family owned Italian places I have been. All the food is delicious that will place a cheese to your face. Truly a great little place to enjoy some good Italian food. A must visit if are in the area. Tina A. was our server and she is great!

I had a veggie pizza and dinner salad from here and while the salad wasn?t exactly to my liking, the pizza was excellent. It was a good quality salad, just not my cup of tea. Everything on the pizza tasted fresh and high quality. They mozzarella tasted great. And my favorite thing about the pizza was probably how it wasn?t over salted and seasoned the way a lot of pizza chain style pizzas usually are. I didn?t feel awful after eating this pizza the way I would a chain pizza place. The restaurant itself was very chill and welcoming and everyone I talked to was very nice and attentive.

Absolutely amazing! ??? Everything smells and tastes fresh. My wife and I ordered the pepperoni pizza. Amazed by how great this tasted. Our waitress was super nice and accommodating. She was attentive and made us feel like family. We also ordered the chocolate cake just to taste it. It too was also fresh and delicate.
