Fiddlers Green - San Diego

We both ordered wedge salads, but one was served as a traditional wedge while the other was a garden salad. They took the incorrect salad back, and after some time, we finally received the correct wedge salad. My wife ordered the kebab and requested that the meat be cooked rare. However, it was so dry that she could hardly chew it. I tried a piece and agreed that it was overcooked. Additionally, the sweet on the skewer was not fresh. The food was clearly served at a less-than-ideal temperature. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. My wife and I were celebrating our 31st anniversary, which I had mentioned when making our reservation, yet there was no acknowledgment of our special occasion. While the meal did provide a decent portion for the price, the quality and temperature of the food fell short of our expectations.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a laid-back dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor is fun and features a nautical theme throughout. The owner, a friendly local man, is very attentive and on top of things. The waitstaff is also very friendly and helpful. It's a great last-minute choice for couples or families looking for a casual meal.

I've visited The Fiddlers numerous times and have always been pleased with my experience.

Wonderful place to dinner. great food and atmosphere. we've been lucky that you piano player was tommy strong in the night there. he added such a big soundtrack to a funny, covered eating. we are not out of the opposite, but when we return to shelter island, we will definitely come back!

Great place for a casual dinner. Good drinks and bar area. Casual boating atmosphere for good steak and seafood dinners. Our prime rib and NY strip steak were delicious. Staff is friendly and intentive. Relaxing and comfortable and great food.
