Dirty Birds College Area - San Diego

The food was good, but the service was lacking. The servers seemed a bit unpleasant. Why the hostility?

My first visit to Dirty Birds was quite disappointing. The wings I had were the worst I've ever tasted—burnt, dry, and lacking flavor. I’m giving them 2 stars because I understand the situation; I ordered during a busy time and the lone staff member was clearly overwhelmed. I waited about 20 minutes past my pickup time, which isn’t his fault. However, I'm pretty sure the wings had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. On top of that, it was quite pricey, as I spent over $20 on food that I ended up throwing away. I was really looking forward to a good meal and left feeling let down.

Each time we come to this place with a big party, they stick it with a server that has not only a big party but several additional tables to serve. while we had a server, their customer service was great and we understood that it was not the problem. the place was packed so enough server for taking the mass is essential. we waited for more than 45 minutes for drinks and lunch. we tried to order drinks from the bar and were rejected. when we tried to give the manager feedback, he was extremely rude and not susceptible. So, just go to oggis for the sports bar experience. it is not the server, but the management. on b

Delicious as always! The lemon pepper wings are amazing, as are the ones with old bay seasoning. It's a dry rub but they have wet flavors as well. The staff have always been courteous and personable. This is a favorite of mine for sure!!

Always enjoy this place!! My opinion, best wings in San Diego!! The burgers are pretty damn good too. Give it a try!
