Contribuiți la feedbackAlways a pleasure to spend time with good friendly company at the Pub. Be it after a Rugby match or an evening of poetry and pipes for Burns Night (the poet and the piper could not make it though). We can always count on courteous and attentive service from Patty and her staff. Not to mention the great food and spirits. This visit was no different with a treat to an authentic four course Irish dinner. We had a great evening with friends enjoying the patio with heat from tabletop fire. There was some live music and basketball game on the telly for those interested. Can wait for the next opportunity to come around. Slainte.
The service was great and so was the beer. The bartender had a knowledge of what she was selling which is increasingly rare. Great prices too. Don 't go here to eat (unless you 're already drunk). The maple carrots were actually just corn syrup and they were undercooked. Having ordered my burger medium rare, I got it back well done and crumbly for some reason. Burger had nowhere near enough moisture. Normally when you think about food the next day it 's because you can 't wait to go back. This morning it 's because I 'm still mad about how ass my dinner was last night.
The Pub is a casual friendly bar and with an Irish inspired menu. Service is friendly and efficient. They have several TV show major sporting events. Indoor as well as outdoor table service is available. There is ample parking. Today I had the Ploughman's plate. It consisted of a bowl of stew, a loaf of Irish Soda Bread, and cheddar cheese. The stew was delicious. Simply made homemade tasty stew. The bread was also delicious. This was my second visit to The Pub. I will be returning.
My partner and I have been coming here for years now and the food never disappoints. Service and can be spotty here, so make sure to ask your server for what you need up front, because it can be hard to track them down again. However, the food makes up for the service. Some of our favorites here are the fried chicken, garlic fries, and peach cobbler. The garlic fries are super crispy and well seasoned. The peach cobbler is also baked fresh to order in a six inch circular tin, big enough for two people to share. I tried the spinach artichoke dip recently and that was also great- it's very rich and filling. Everything is super fresh here so you should expect a longer wait than most places. While you wait, enjoy the live music as many musicians practice here a couple times a week.
Been coming here since the soft opening many years ago. So many good things to say about this place. Happy that they have been able to provide amazing food constantly and get better.
