Cori Pastificio Trattoria - San Diego

We went to Cori Pastificio Trattoria to celebrate our babymoon. The restaurant was very cozy and we were seated promptly with our reservation. We ordered the Paloma, salad, crispy riceballs with cremini mushrooms, lasagna, gnocchi, lemon dessert, and tiramisu. They provided us with a bottle of water to refill as needed and also kept an eye on it, refilling it for us when it was empty. The crispy riceballs were the highlight of the meal and left us both wanting more. The lemon dessert was also a standout, despite us taking it home with us. It was light, airy, and deliciously unique. The service was good, with our waiter answering any questions and checking in with us after each course. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area.

Charming, authentic Italian cuisine served fresh at this restaurant, although it can be a bit noisy. Eric, our waiter, was very knowledgeable and even spoke Italian. Jesus Manuel, the host, was also friendly. We definitely plan on returning to this restaurant, as it is a winner.

We visited Cori Pastificio for the first time and had a great experience. Our server was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. The food was delicious, especially the desserts.

Delicious and large portions easily shared by two. The octopus was tender, the zuppe di mare was filled with seafood and couldn't stop sopping up every bit of broth. The short ribs were so tender and flavorful. And the dessert with the little funnel cake was yum

The preparation of this food is perfection!! Our pesto ravioli and eggplant Parmesan was outstanding if you like real and amazing Italian food, go here and you will not be disappointed.
