Bread Cie - San Diego

I am still hooked on Bread Cie! They recently introduced a delicious cheese-topped muffin with a soft-boiled egg inside. Another morning, I satisfied my sweet tooth with their delectable mocha-flavored pastry. Their coffee is incredibly aromatic, and I love to enjoy it with raw sugar. I can't wait to come back!

I have been a fan of this place for a long time, but yesterday we got a cake for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! The chocolate cream cake was delicious, and the pumpkin carrot cake was fantastic! The combination of cranberry and pumpkin layers added an extra kick to the dessert that was a pleasant surprise. Bravo!

Brot and Cie is a great bakery. It can get really crowded inside, so it is best to go early. I recommend trying the sampler, which includes three different types of bread and various spreads. I really enjoyed it. I had only tried the bread, but it made me want to try more items on their menu!

This “pance stop” on the way to the 6th bridge (vermont st) of our city walk. it was refreshing! many choices in the menu. Eat tastes good and service was friendly and fast. this was on 2/14/22 by 1 clock and there were several tabs available, some with partitions for social distancing.

The restaurant was bustling, but with multiple staff members taking orders, service was quick. The spinach quiche and almond pear tart were delicious, and I also enjoyed a yogurt cup with peach compote. The yogurt was a bit chunky for my taste, but the compote was tasty and not too sweet, likely made in-house. My friend ordered the smoked salmon plate and pistachio croissant, both of which she enjoyed. The coffee was strong and satisfying. The dessert options in the display case were abundant and visually appealing. The staff was polite and efficient, and there was indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking was limited, with options including a small lot in the back and street parking. Good luck finding a spot!
