I adore the acai bowl! It's a generously-sized, nutritious escape featuring berries, banana slices, honey, and oatmeal cereal.
Ocean's Ice Cream is our preferred spot in Pacific Beach for indulging in delicious ice cream cones under the sun. Since the ice cream tends to melt quickly, we've learned to savor it promptly. Whenever we spend time on the beach, we'll always make it a point to grab a cone from here.
Ocean's Ice Cream is our favorite place in Pacific Beach to get a yummy ice cream cone while spending the day in the sun. The ice cream melts fast so you have to eat quickly. Will continue to always grab a cone here when spending time on the beach.
Cone choice and flavors -yes!!! Scoop score- boooSolo worker but quick to serve (maybe why the scoops don't stick )The giant ice cream cone on the side of the building won't steer you wrong, but don't be naive, it's still an old beachside shack surrounded by smelly trash cans and homeless people who have absolutely peed and slept (or may still be sleeping) in the parking lot behind it. The little place seems to have everything you need, though there was no chance in hell we were going to order food there. They advertise hot dogs and other stuff in addition to the ice cream and shake options. We just kept it simple. We all got ice cream in waffle cones! They had fabulous flavor choices and all the cone options. The big bummer for us was that the lady, albeit SWEET AS COULD BE, didn't do a great scoop job. It was a mess and the top scoop slid right off onto the sidewalk. I wasn't sad, really, because my son didn't need that much ice cream, but he was pretty upset about it. haha! We didn't return there for ice cream during our trip, but I wanted to be sure and mention that the seating here was PERFECTION for my early morning walk I took the following day from our Airbnb. I got a coffee and a few muffins (that the seagulls stole from me, but that's in my other review) and I sat there at Ocean's looking out at the gorgeous view and enjoyed my coffee. ...until the morning breeze started consistently blowing the juicy hot garbage smell in my direction.
