Allegro Restaurant And Bar - San Diego

We had a wonderful first visit to Allegro last night to celebrate my sister's birthday! Our server Nicole was amazing and made the experience so fun! The food was delicious the drinks perfect ! My sister's delicious lemon drop even had a beautiful pansy in it . Nicole took such good care of us we will definitely be back soon !

We were a group of 10 sitting outside on the terrace fire table. This is a great table for a group. The food choices that night were great. The service was a little slow but not horrible as we were a big party. If I could critique anything, our server did not seem super knowledgeable on the menu items or wine list when we asked questions, but he was very polite. You can always tell an above par restaurant when the staff is fully trained on the menu. Will we go again absolutely!

The food was excellent. Came to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Our server Beatrice was so nice and helpful when it came to the menu. Overall such a good experience we'll be back soon!

We got married at allegro last year. Rented the lemon room out for 40 ppl and wanted to celebrate our one year last night. Service was horrendous and the food was terrible! It was such a sad disappointment! Manager ended up comping it all but my husband didn't eat and I only finished half my meal. Our meal came out 4 minutes after the order was placed. The tomatoes in my pasta were still whole and not cooked! While his raviolini tasted like mush. After we shared our dislike of food, the manager came by and their server noted our meal was taken care of and no one came by after that. But a bad taste in our mouth for our 1 year anniversary after a great wedding experience.

Don’t get the house wine it’s a $4 bottle of Behringer Cabernet Sauvignon.. terrible. They need better house wine as that brings the whole experience down. The food was really delicious. We got the prefixed menu which was a good deal.
