Contribuiți la feedbackI went during lunch with a colleague. We weee promptly seated without any wait time. There was one other booth taken and while there 2 more tables were seated. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The food was fine. Nothing stellar or something memorable. I had the beef red curry while my colleague had chicken red curry. On the advice of the waitress we both asked for level 1. It's a good spicy but I would have preferred a little more. So maybe a 1.5 as 2 is really a level 3 (her worlds).
Best kept secret in San Antonio! The cuisine explodes with flavor. We find the atmosphere calming, perfect for recharging after a long stressful day, week, etc. Eating here felt like a meditation. The staff were incredible. I can honestly say that the silver wear as well as the cup you drink are super immaculate. So if you want to enjoy a great atmosphere as well as food this is the place for you!
The spring rolls were perfect! Fresh crisp veg perfectly cooked rice noodles, shrimp steamed just, right not overcooked. The Tom Ka soup was excellent you could taste every component of the soup clearly without any one Ingredient overpowering the others. I got it medium-hot spicy and it was a nice kick. Next time I'll try it full throttle. But the part of my meal that made my face crumple in disbelief tuat it could be so dang good was the BBQ pork fried rice. Fresh vegetables again highlighted the dish with fresh tomatoes included. I had never had fresh stir fried tomatoes before, if you had asked me yesterday I would have said they couldn't hold up to stir-frying without nearly dissolving. But they stole the show along with the thinly sliced bbq pork and perfectly seasoned fried rice. I am truly blown away, did not expect this high of quality for this price.
I have to agree with other reviews. The service was very quick for lunch, the portions were amazingly generous, and the food was delicious. My table tried the cheese rolls, fresh spring rolls, and the fried banana with ice cream. All fantastic and sharable. I ordered the special for the month and was not disappointed. Spicy in just the right ways! I almost forgot the soup, it was amazing as well! The orange tea was unforgettable too. I really enjoyed my lunch and am glad to have been shown this gem!
Small spot in a diverse little shopping center right outside of 410 off Blanco. Came here off of Yelp reviews it 's not too far from my house either. The parking lot was full! Maybe from the Irish pub next door? I had to double park while I got off for pickup. There was one table of 3 inside. My order was ready. Asked if my soy sauce was in the bag? (I had added a note on my pickup order to please add soy sauce. Lady at counter said yes. Another came up and said no and then said she was getting me a drink for place a to go order over $25. Gave me Thai iced tea. It was good. Ordered a pad Thai at a spice level 3 and it was HOT! Noodle unfortunately were too soggy. I wanted to like it, but over cooked noodles never make for a good dish. Also got cheese rolls and egg rolls. I didn 't know what to expect from either. Cheese rolls said crab meat in description but I saw no trace of that. It was served with what they call upper sauce . Looked and tasted like Mayo with hot sauce? I don 't think it quite went with cheese rolls. Egg roll was thin wit a little filling inside. Seemed like chicken, but I selected pork, so, likely that? Came with a vinegar and something sauce..? Idk what it was. Ha! Everything was just ok. I might give it another shot another time. They are open until after 9pm, which most places aren 't.
