Louisiana Bistro - San Andreas

I went on a Sunday, so it was quite quiet at dinner. eating was not very good. I ordered fish chips (black kabeljau) and it came from bland. that eat tasted as if it were frozen the day before. not good.

Nothing was good here. The waiter was a little strange and rushed. Beers were flat. Wine tasted stables. The food wasn't good. We ordered an appetizer and it never came. Our entrees were cold and tasteless. Would NIE go back. The poor owner just walks around in a daze, he needs help from someone who knows how to run a restaurant.

This was the third time that we were in Louisiana Bistro since autumn 2016. Every time we try something new. The cook doesn't disappoint. Seafood Pasta was excellent as the BBQ Beef Ribs. We had the appetizer plate with Fried Catfish, Shrimp Chicken Wings. Since there was Cinco de Mayo, there was a 2 piece combo in the back room with a place to dance. The music was the perfect sound level to drive forward. We will definitely return.

Jambalaya and bread pudding were fabulous! And the service was exceptional.

My wife gave me some gift certificates to this restaurant because I was born in New Orleans. We kept the certificates for over a year before finally using them. The food was delicious. We enjoyed shrimp and catfish bites for appetizers, she had fish and chips while I had jambalaya with rice. For dessert, we couldn't decide between banana pudding and beignets so we got both. Everything was excellent. If you enjoy Cajun/Southern cuisine, you will love this restaurant.
