One of the best omakases that I've experienced. The fish tasted delicious and fresh, pacing of dinner was prompt but not rushed, and the staff was great. Not one bad dish. Some unique courses/garnishes. Fun atmosphere.
An amazing omakase experience, worth the price tag. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. Our server was very attentive and executed each dish with precision. Hoping to return soon!
I strongly recommend the hotate (scallop)! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
After eating at Ju Ni last week I understand why they lost their Michelin star. The sushi is good very good but altogether the experience fell well short of the bill that came with it. That ended up being $650 for two after 3 drinks and 3 extra nigiri. At that level we were expecting attentive but discrete service in a quiet, polished ambience. What we got was an adequate level of service service that would've been fine, maybe even good at a neighborhood sushi joint but fell below our expectations. As far as setting an ambience go, well, that was the same story. The interior is polished and there's barely 20 seas around the bar and so we were expecting a quiet and refined experience. What we got was noisier and pop music filled dinner. Overall, while we couldn't knock the food, the price tag doesn't match the rest of the package.
