Fav's Italian Cucina - Samoset

This was some of the best Italian my husband and I have ever had. Their oil and bread to start with is evil good. I should have gotten a bottle of that oil to go. The gnocchi was the softest and pillowy I have ever eaten and the meatballs tasted homemade. My husband had the Stromboli and it was so unique from any other he has ever had. Their dining area is small but so worth coming to eat at.

Consistently good food, friendly staff. Great place for to-go or dine in. One of the best Italian sandwiches in town and THE best stromboli in town.

Nice small Italian restaurant. You order at the counter then they bring it to you at your table. Nice variety of food: appetizers, salads, pizza, subs, and entrees. Only 3 entrees are available before 5 pm but that still leaves a lot of choices. We started with the cheesy garlic bread which was very tasty. Two of us had side Caesar salads which were fine. Another person ordered the house salad and it came with yummy bread and a great dipping oil. For dinner we had cheese ravioli, large house salad, cold sub, and sauteed ravioli with caramelized onions. All were good and not the usual oversized Italian portions. Prices were reasonable for what we ordered and the server was attentive. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did. Kid-friendliness: Table by us had 4 small children and the family was happy with the choices. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level restaurant with a wide door.

Good little Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Bradenton. It is above all a “take-out” with a few tables inside and outside on a terrace. Lacks a bit of atmosphere (no music) but the food makes up for it. We ate the daily specials and it was a treat. The service was pleasant and the beer and white wine served in a cold glass. I had never had white pizza before, and it changed my life! It was so amazing! Everything I ate here was SO GOOD SO FRESH! The dipping bread was to die for! And prices were amazing! I was visiting for a trip and now that I’m home I think about it all the time!
