Villa Serena - Samana

I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could (but it's not possible for non-fully vegetarian restaurants). The food was excellent! When we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful building overlooking the pool and gardens. Getting to the restaurant was easy, and the prices were reasonable - 250 Pesos for a main course (about 4.40 Euro) and 200 Pesos for a cocktail (with or without alcohol). The vegan menu consisted of raw food options, including four different power bowls, but there were also some vegetarian choices on the regular menu. For starters, we had coconut pumpkin soup and quinoa salad, followed by sushi and stir-fried vegetables as our main course - everything was delicious. We were also served grilled bread and hummus as a complimentary appetizer. Along with two cocktails, two bottles of water, and a generous tip, our total bill came to only 40 euros. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Upon arriving from the outside, we were initially a bit worried as the setting was so unusual (a beautiful building with views overlooking a pool and house). However, we had no trouble finding the restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised by the prices: 250 pesos for a main course (4.40 euros) and 200 pesos for a cocktail (with or without alcohol). The vegan menu consisted entirely of raw food (4 different dishes), but there were also some vegetarian options on the regular menu. For starters, we had a coconut pumpkin soup and a quinoa salad, followed by sushi and stir-fried vegetables for the main course, all of which were absolutely amazing. We were even treated to complimentary grilled bread and hummus as an appetizer. With two cocktails, two bottled waters, and a generous tip, our total bill came to only 40 euros. The staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!
