Also the parking lot west is a little shady and I'm worried about leaving my car. These things aside when you 're in him much less of a purgatory mood than I originally intended. Actually, it's pretty great. It is a mic mash of atmospheric industrial aesthetics with some clever purgatory-esquires design elements that almost convince me that hell could be charming. There are seating inside and outside, what makes it like a safer option to board when you are looking for a night (or brunch out). When you look back, the night is a little playful. Great food, great business, great convo. I had the same drink on repetition (delict, I think it was called natural elements? It had a beautiful foam and taste. Also a delicious burger (Purgs maybe? . It was a perfect evening. I didn't think I would ever say that, but I'm looking forward to more time in Purgatory...
Oh, my God, where do I start? I love this place and will come here more often! I was a couple of times in Purgatory over the years, mostly only at night when you go, or in the evening, to a sequence of their delicious fries, but yesterday I was the first time I went for Sunday brunch and I was so impressed! We discussed where to go for Sunday brunch without reservation, as it may sometimes be so difficult to get anywhere in time and we were really hungry. We took a look at the Purgatory Brunch menu and so on. They have an Asian fusion menu for their dinner and brunch menu. We could sit right now. It was busy, almost all tables were full, but it wasn't too busy or crazy. The service was wonderful and the food and drinks came out quickly. Mimosas are $7 or you can have a bottle for $30, so we have the bottle. It's Andre, so it's not some imagination, but they keep it cool for you and you can include ABI, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice or cranberry juice. We got both the broken sando that comes on a Hawaiian bungalow with soft scrambled eggs (and a LOT of them!, chives, bacon, cheddar, Gochu Creama and one side of the houseries. The sandwich was so delicious. So creamy and delicious, I can't wait to get it back. The Hawaiian bungalow was soft and a little sweet everything was delicious. I am sad that I have neglected this place for years and have not visited it for a while, but also so happy that I am connected to it and cannot wait to come back. Good moods, good people, good food and good service! Shout to Beth to be a wonderful server during the brunch!
Great comfort food brunch! This place was checked with the family and it was a whole hit. Food, service and drinks were good. The overall layout was cool, both inside and outside. The only thing I didn't love was that some of the dishes were very similar. There were many options, it just happened that the 4 different dishes we selected seemed to overlap (very similar). Anyway, they were delicious and the price wasn't bad. Would definitely recommend others. Food: 4.5/5Drinks: 4/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 4.5/5Price: 4.5/5Total: 4.3/5
This was one of the only places that still served food in the area, so we decided to stop by. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to try asian fusion in a place like this, but I was wrong!! Our whole food was amazing!! The Kimchi eggs, curry, stir fried noodle bowl, all of it!! We were so hungry that I didn't get a picture and that's my only regret! The service was good, but definitely very casual. You could say the staff was friends with a lot of customers in this place and it seemed like a cool place to hang for a younger, alternative crowd. Could disturb some people, but we had a great time.
Food: lots of great Asian fusion items on the dish. Most come with a side of fries so the dishes can be very filling very quick. We started with spam musubi for the table. It was very flavorful but a little too much rice and sauce making it a tad bit salty. For main dish I ordered the patty melt. The Patties were cooked well and you could taste some char on the meat. The fries were exquisite, not too oily. We also ordered the pad kra pow, which was a little disappointing in terms of flavor. I could really only taste the basil and needed extra hot sauce on the side. Service: friendly staff, helped to acclimate a slightly bigger group. Ambiance: casual bar vibes. Note that ID is required to enter. Parking: hard to find parking as lot was full, but street parking also available
