Poplar Street Pub - Salt Lake City

I always came to poplar, it was the first date with my wife, but the management is now terrible. Right when she went into him, it was friendly, but now his person on his phone, texting, seeking ids instead of welcoming her and politely asking. I had no worse experience before two nights. Usually love the place but after last night I will most likely not return. After praising our server another waitress came over to lecture our party on tipping her. We weren 't finished and NEVER forget to tip! On the way out she told us never to come back . Beware of this cocktail waitress who wears a green beanie!!

Appetizers are good. I've only tried the appetizers at this place so my overall knowledge is limited, but what I had, I enjoyed.

Great all around!!!. Beer on tap is plentiful and prices are reasonable, service is fast and friendly, and the crowd is vibrant. I recommend their Prosciutto Burger as a must try. It is flavorful, sweet and perfectly cooked every time. A pint of Chasing Tail to wash it down is a perfect match to their burgers. And they really know how to cook french fries here, just crispy enough on the outside, chewy inside. Their fries really are some of the best around. I enjoy them both regular and garlic style. All of their dishes are at least very good here, so you really can't go wrong.

One of my favorite places to have some drinks. Great place to hang out and throw back a few, pretty cool crowd
