Mazza - Salt Lake City

Large selection of medium-east foods, including many vegetarian dishes. a full bar, very attentive server and great eating. What else could anyone ask? if they have a group (our was six) they will not sit them until all are present, which is good in my view, because it keeps people from hogging larger tables forever. the remaining rooms could be more clean and extended to more than one time, but were sufficient.

Now, this restaurant was a place for my family and business. we celebrate birthdays, business meetings, etc. eating is always good. but tonight was not the case. it's been a few months since I was in mazza, but tonight the service was terrible. we waited for a whole hour for our food, consisting mainly of salads and sandwiches. nothing complex was ordered. it was sad to see that this place falls so fast. the waiter pretended they didn't care. gastgeber seemed to focus on living the female hipster life of dry interactions. Date spot.. There's no better place to take a date than Mazza. Great food, not too wild, everything tastes great, good alcohol selection (could use little variety of darker beers)and service is taken pretty seriously. We had a minor wait time from being seated to order, but worth it, as always.
