I ordered the special: kimchi ramen for a very reasonable $8.50 . very pronounced kimchi taste: I had feared it would be diluted in the suppe. killer pork recommended by the cash register: light signs for crispness, big taste. seaweed is a beautiful supplement. the selection is incredible here. there are crows, there are rice flours, there is curry, there is sushi. I have to come back more often to see what else I can try.
Mildly disappointed. that was eating, the atmosphere rustic. very warm when we were there. I would go back, but I wouldn't make a special trip.
Tried KK for at late lunch. I'm baffled how this place gets a 90% rating. The gyoza and a beef dish were dreadful. The caterpillar role was mushy and left a fishy aftertaste. The staff locked and gated the entrance, leaving customers to exit past the filthy kitchen and out the back door. Blechh!
Fantastic Ramen. Our party of 5 included a 5 and 7 year old with great palates. We were excited to finally try Koko's and we were not disappointed. It was delicious. We ordered the pork ramen, beef ramen and gyoza. Broth was perfectly seasoned-ramen generous and chock full of meat. We got there at 11.30am and place was full by 12:15;I would recommend arriving right at 11.30am. Next time and there will be many times-I am looking forward to the sushi and trying other items on the menu. The aroma of the other dishes was very tempting of the numerous other diners. Best ramen we've had in Utah so far!
I quickly learned that my eyes are much bigger than my stomach. Ordered the Jumbo Pork Ramen along with a Spam Musubi and a Ume Rice Ball. When I was younger I could eat all that. Definately not now. The ramen was excellent. I've been to a group of ramen shops and I rate this place pretty high. Quality and taste are worth while.
