Tropical Sno - Salina

Flavors are awesome but drive thur is super slow. 30 minute wait for 4 cars.

Very nice sno cone shack! I 'm so glad it 's shaved ice and not crushed ice which some sno cone places have. Tropical Sno has options for adding ice cream and such into/on the sno cone which is super yummy. They 've got good flavor options and the drive through is handy dandy! It 'd be better if they could intersperse the icecream with the sno cone instead of leaving it all at the bottom, but I 'm just glad it 's an option!!

The service here is incredibly fast and friendly. They serve the best quality sno cones in Kansas! The portion sizes are impressive—just a small costs $3, and it offers plenty of shaved ice to keep you satisfied. This is a fantastic small business focused on providing a great customer experience. I can’t emphasize enough how generous the portion sizes are for the price. They also offer a loyalty card: buy 9 sno cones and get the 10th one free! The only downside is their hours; they’re open from 1 PM to 9 PM. I wish they opened around 11 AM or noon, especially during the hot summer months, as it would be a perfect stop for lunch breaks or family outings.

I absolutely love this place in the summer! The flavors are incredible, and the portion sizes are more generous than I'd expect. The colorful, changing spoons are a fun touch, too!

I highly recommend visiting this place with your family for a delicious tropical snow cone. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they truly understand how to treat their customers well. This spot is fantastic, and I can't wait to bring my kids here all summer long!
