The Cozy Taberna - Salem

Cozy never disappoints. Sitting at the Chefs table is so much fun. We spend most of the time saying “what’s that” so we can try it next time. A restaurant of this quality has been a long time coming. Thank you Lois and Rex.

What a great find in Salem. Spanish cuisine done right. Perfect tapas selections and oh the flavors. Kate was fantastic and she guided us thru the menu. The Radicchio Salad was out of this world. The green olive tapenade really made the dish. The clams and the octopus were masterfully crafted. Nice selection of spanish wines. Highly recc this restaurant.

Really delicious food, cool location. I really like that it has an open kitchen so you can watch what’s going on. It’s great to have another high quality restaurant in Salem.

How good is it? HOW GOOD IS IT? It’s not good, it’s outstanding. I have now tried almost everything on the menu and still plan to revisit. The Cozy Taberna is an incredible experience. The vibe is inviting, sophisticated, comfortable, inclusive and an escape to another world. The food is so exquisitely presented, hand crafted to perfection and the taste of Heaven in every bite. The price point fits the sophistication of this cuisine and is worth every penny. The service is quick, and so friendly you feel like you’re home. I hope all businesses take note of this amazing system they have of supportive, hard worker staff to model after because it keeps us wanting to return. 12/10. Must experience.
