Robertson's Hams - Salado

Whenever we're in Dallas or passing through Robertson's, we always make it a point to stop by. We've been visiting since 1988, and we love their large, dry sausage and summer sausage. They also serve fantastic sandwiches, making it an ideal spot for a tasty snack.

This is a fantastic spot to take a break on a road trip. They serve delicious, large smoked sausages and use quality ice in their drinks! Plus, there's a charming gift shop, although it's a bit light on food items.

We absolutely love the Buffalo Jerky; it's the best I've ever tasted!

For more years to stop there when I can slow down during the ongoing I35 construction, but this area completely so had to stop, still really good jerk!

We make it a point to stop at Robertsons every time we are in their vicinity. Even when we think we are not going to make it before they close are are going to be passing by within a couple minutes of them closing we will call ahead and ask them to leave our order outside. lol I think we may have a problem. Lol or it's just that good. Thank you Robertson for what you do !!!!
