Marketplace Cafe - Salado

This is a sweet little café in one of the boutiques in downtown Salado. It's right on Main Street, so it's a perfect place to stop when you go. It also works if you want to call in advance and pick up an order. They have sweet and hearty crepes as well as coffee, smoothies and small desserts, all reasonable prices. If you feel adventurous, you should take a look at your drink of the month and you will be treated to a unique drink that you will not find anywhere else. When I left, I tried the prickly pear lemonade and I wasn't disappointed. If you are ever in the area, bring some friends and make some time for this place. But get there early before they're sold out!

My daughter and I had a delightful experience with the Curious George Crepe, which had Nutella and banana, along with a macchiato and a lavender chai latte. Everything was absolutely delicious! Plus, we had the added bonus of shopping afterward!

I visited for brunch today and sampled some of their new crepe flavors! From left to right, we had the Spinach Crêpe Lorraine, the CBP (our all-time favorite), and the Strawberry Cheesecake Crêpe. They were all incredibly delicious and fresh! We also enjoyed our usual drinks: Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, sweet iced tea, and a Strawberry Banana smoothie. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of coffee, a delightful or hearty crepe, or even a scoop of ice cream. The staff is always friendly, and the flavors and quality are consistently outstanding. I definitely recommend this place!

Large small but very large branch, a very nice selection of households, portable items and more. If you enjoy shopping the small businesses you need to put them on your list. Even a small café, but we had just eaten so we didn't get there.

Excellent service and great coffee! You should definitely stop by for a cup!
