No English menu but if you can get the waiter to spend the time he'll explain all the meals to you in a very direct way. Pricing quite reasonable and directly opposite a bar if you feel like another drink.
We wanted to get away from the touristy water front restaurants and walked the back streets. There are many resturant in these streets and we just chose this one because of the available outdoor seating, and we were we did. The food was excellent and the service was great. We got to talk to the owner and he was just gracious. Told us all about different items on the menu and helped with the selection. We loved the choices. I strongly recommend it and do get the out door seating.
Take a walk up the back streets of Saint Tropez and you find many small interesting restaurants. This is a good choice for a casual lunch. It is popular and road side tables are often full but get one if you can and enjoy the excellent menu.
We stumbled on this place when making our way through the old town to the Citadel, the steps are a stone's throw from the restaurant. We sat out, watched the world go by and enjoyed an excellent 3 course Menu Du Jour for 21 Euros. My husband and I ordered 2 different starters and then shared the charcuterie and grilled veggies that arrived, after which we both chose the fried seafood which was light and delicious. Hubby went for the lemon sorbet which he pronounced 'excellent and very lemony' and I declined dessert and asked for coffee instead, which they did not charge me extra for as so many places do- nice gesture. Nice friendly service. Would recommend for St Tropez and a MUCH environment than the harbor which is crowded and very touristy. We were the only non- French couple in the restaurant.
Nice place, food was good and serve extremely quick (we were in a middle of rush hours but restaurant was not full). You can eat outside on the little terrasse by the walking street. Entree to dessert everything was good (a little preference for the Chocolate Cake than the Tropezienne)
