For appetizers, I highly recommend the bread and jam. Save some of the leftover jam for your main meal; it pairs wonderfully with both pork and fish. The food overall was expertly prepared, featuring subtle surprises in flavor, texture, and aroma. If you're staying at the Hampton across the street, it makes the experience even better since you don't have to worry about driving! Thank you for a wonderful evening; if we return to St. Simons, Ember will definitely be on our list again.

Outstanding food, had the duck noodles, shrimp and grits, pork skins and cornbread.

Our family visits St. Simons Island several times a year since we have relatives living here. We have our favorite spots, but there are times when our dining choices are not given much attention. Fortunately, we found this place after Bubba Garcia was closed for a wedding, and we’re so glad we brought our party of twelve here instead. We were impressed with the menu! We absolutely loved the dishes we tried, including the gnocchi, grilled Caesar salad, Brie cheese with jam, and perfectly cooked steak. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Don’t hesitate to give this restaurant a try!

This is definitely my favorite restaurant! The service is excellent, and the unique atmosphere in the Golden Isles adds to the experience. Beatrice really knows how to fire up the wood stove, and the food here is hands down the best on St. Simons Island.
