My Fav on The Island!! We go there every Anniversary Birthday... all special events, and when we just want to go out for a nice meal! We love hanging out AND EATING , there at The Bar with our friend Bridget. She's the BOMB!! Parking: They have an easy in-easy out parking lot. We came with great expectations of real low country fresh seafood etc. sometimes less is more. Everything was overdone to the extent that it overpowered the main ingredient. Shrimp and grits accept here it is shrimp and grits with grits cakes or cheese grits if requested, with a cream sauce that has mushrooms and other things that disguise the taste of the shrimp. I can’t tell you if the shrimp are any good you can’t taste them. The $34 snapper entre, same thing. Comes with a cream based roasted pepper jalapeño sauce. Asked that it be on the side. Didn’t happen. It distracted the flavor of the fish. Snapper properly prepared can stand on its own. Not sure about theirs. Long story short, go somewhere else. This is certainly not the best. Don’t know but think they have allowed the competition to push them to try to differentiate the wrong way. Less is more. Let the main ingredient carry the item!
