Cilantro's Grill Cantina

The Mexican food here is decent, but it lacks a bit of flavor.

Much better than other cilantro dishes I've tried. The food is great!

The only reason I'm giving the service four stars instead of five is that they forgot to include my drink in the order, which meant I had to drive back to get it. It wasn’t a big deal, though. Inside, the ambiance is very much like a bar and grill, with loud music, TVs scattered around, and a nice long bar, along with plenty of tables and chairs. There isn't much decoration, but that doesn't bother me. I come here mainly for the good food and service, which they definitely provided. Thanks, Cilantro's!

While waiting for my food, I took a seat at the bar and was really impressed by the restaurant. It has a casual café vibe, and although it’s not decorated with a Hispanic theme, the well-functioning air conditioning was a welcome relief from the August heat and humidity. I noticed that other guests looked very happy, with their plates heaped with food, which speaks to the great value you get here. I chatted with the two bartenders in my limited Spanish, and they were exceptionally friendly. They really engaged me with open-ended questions, and we discussed food and my travel experiences around the world, switching to Spanish whenever possible. They were truly nice young men. I plan to visit this Mexican restaurant multiple times during my two-month stay because of their friendly service, cleanliness, and delicious food at a great price. My friend ordered the crazy chicken plate, which looked like grilled chicken with onions and mushrooms, but I barely noticed since I was enjoying my tacos, particularly with the corn tortillas – that’s the way to eat tacos. The corn tortillas were excellent and not dry at all. This place would be perfect for happy hour or just enjoying a satisfying plate of Mexican food while soaking in the community atmosphere.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. The food is of excellent quality and authentically prepared. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
