Kalbi Taco Shack - Saint Louis

I visited a friend in St. Louis from Chicago, and I can't stop thinking about this place. I made the trip to see my friend, but honestly, I was also eager to go to Kalbi Taco Shack. The drive is absolutely worth it, especially if it's under six hours!

My first time in the City Foundry Food Hall, and I was pleasantly surprised! I have the cow replacements Tacos and a watermelon boba

I have two tacos from here on the Food Hall Tour. The tacos were good, but nothing too crazy. I think it was because it was just like the seasoned meat on the bowl. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken taco and would say to skip the Teriyaki chicken taco. The tacos need some sort of topping.

I found this restaurant to be highly overrated, and I was quite surprised to see its high ratings. The food portions were very small, and the amount of meat in the rice bowls was disappointingly minimal. Although the drinks were tasty, the boba was not chewy at all and seemed like it came straight from a can. Overall, I was left feeling disappointed, especially considering that this place isn't cheap.

Outstanding asianfusion tacos! Absolutely packed with flavor. They are a little juicy, so hold them over your plate; but this place is probably my fave at the Foundry.
