Bistrot de la Poste - Saint-Galmier

Book in our hotel in St Garmier for 1 night route to Roscoff to say their restaurant was full. Driving around the city looking for a restaurant we discovered this inconceivable frontage. Happiness that we did because the food and service was first rate

The back drop of the rolling hills of the land is wonderful. The cook speaks excellent English and is a pleasure to speak. The menu is limited (changes often), but a gastronomic purpose that is safe to please. If you are in the area not past these, it is worth visiting any effort.

We drove through the city in winter and found the most friendly attentive service here. The food was better than anywhere in the city and it was local in our hotel. Very recommended if you are in the mood for meat. Cream Brûlée was excellent as it was brûlée fois gras. All homemade. Do not leave without a shot of Blackberry liqueur on ice...

L'accueil chaleureux et courtois laisse présager la suite : repas goûteux , ambiance sereine et cadre agréable . L'ensemble est franchement plaisant !

Très bonne adresse : produits de qualité, le patron est passionné de vins, ambiance très sympathique avec un rituel avant de partir, surprise!
