La Boulangerie du Village St-Donat

Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to stop by for a coffee at this restaurant, but it was fantastic! Everything looked amazing. The coffee was top-notch and despite the staff being very busy, they were still very friendly and accommodating.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, and it seems there are new owners. They no longer offer self-serve breakfast toast, and the breakfast I ordered was pricey for the small portions. They also no longer make the fruit and sugar pie, and they tend to sell out quickly. Despite these changes, the food is still amazing but in limited supply. The staff was friendly and attentive.

This charming neighborhood bakery offers a variety of sweet and savory options. The lunch specials, which include a sandwich, soup or salad, and dessert or drink, are a great deal at $10.95. The specialty sourdough breads with cranberry, dark chocolate, or walnuts and raisins are dense and tasty. The chocolate croissants and date squares are also delicious. Although it took a bit of time for our americanos to be made, they were worth the wait as they were very good.

Just the great place to stop by for a lunch, coffee, snack. Seems it’s a popular place for locals. Good price! Clean washroom! Just everything you expect for a break during a trip.

We loved this place, lots of breads, sandwiches and desserts. Always fresh and the personal is very friendly!
