We thought here was an breakfast before we met the road. good options on menu, including veg friendly. cheerful service, cozy ambiente.
Stopped in here for breakfast based on TA reviews. Staff were lovely and greeted with a smile. We were seated right away. The menu has a decent variety. Kids’ options too. Problems with service, however. Both my daughter and I received luke warm chai lattés....I asked for hot water, to improve it but that watered down my drink to a tasteless cup. Waitress did not check if it was ok. We weren’t offered cold water. Two of our four meals were served so far in advance the first two were half eaten before everyone was served. Mine came not the way I requested and we had to go inside to bring it to their attention. Meal never came before everyone else was done and ready to leave! I won’t return. In fact, the options in this town didn’t impress so I would try another base to explore the area next time.
We had breakfast at Café Ohana on our way to another destination. The staff was extremely nice, the decor charming and unusually hip for this kind of location. Don't go there just for the food though. The potatoes were burned, the fried eggs too runny....The fruit must have been prepared hours before serving and didn't look or taste very fresh. Considering all this, I found the price too high. Still, if you want to try something new during your trip through the Laurentians give them a try. They deserve it.
Well honestly the ambiance is cute as it features lovely wood ceiling beams and a rustic flare. We ordered 2 cappuccinos, 1 muffin and a maple scone. I cannot fault the coffee but scone which was supposed to be maple was rather bland and muffin...we are sadly trying to figure out what was wrong with it... it’s wasn’t 100% fresh is our assumption? The staff was friendly. Outdoor terrace was open but a tad too nippy.
