Dalles House Lounge - Saint Croix Falls

When we arrived we were welcomed by ?how may I help you? biracial customer was ignored, caucasian customer with biracial customer was asked questions referring to as how many, when, where, and followed with a pager, told we would have to wait10minutes. We were seated at 6:10pm, order taken at 6:23pm, we received our salads and appetizer at 6:50pm, our main course at7:54pm, and dessert at 8:20pm. We were billed $102.36 and told multiple times that the kitchen was unexpectedly hit with a lotof orders.. when we received our food, it was to comparison to nursing home food, very bland, flavorless, and lukewarm. Theyclaim their restaurant is ?fine dining? it?s far from it!

Great place for a stop while exploring the area. We caught lunch here and it was awesome. Wish I would have known about the popovers and walleye. But our food was good too.

When we first went into the bar, it was nothing special, but when we went into the dining room, we were warmly welcomed by an unkindly dressed host.

The dalles house restaurant and lounge never disappoints with the quality of the food and the aromen. - that's a sweat.

Great food. We had Tater Skins for an appetizer! They were very good. I had the special, which was Prime Rib Pesto Alfredo. It was wonderful! Thr primarily was tasty, and the sauce was amazing. The French dressing was the best I ever had. It was different.... slightly spicy/zingy. I can't wait to go back and have that again. The noodles dish was the best. I dont understand why we don't see more steak/noodle dishes more often. Definitely a check of my supper club checklist!!!
