The English Shop - Saint Charles

This restaurant is a disappointing representation of English food and gifts. While they have managed to capture some of the less desirable aspects of British customer service, the store itself feels dark and gloomy, and the customer service leaves much to be desired. The products are overpriced, and I felt embarrassed for the customers who have to pay such high prices for very average English goods.

We visited this place twice during our two-day trip, and we definitely plan to return. It's a fantastic shop with really nice people!

The moment you step inside, the aroma is quite intense. If you’re in the mood for tea or English snacks, this is definitely the spot. They also offer a variety of other items to explore, so it’s not limited to just tea.

The store itself is pretty and fun. They have a large tea selection and lots of things related to the British culture. There is a true size poster of the queen, perfumes, candy and cookies.

Very nice store with authentic British food, items ans candy. Beatles playing over the speakers. Owner was personable and nice, very pleasant a sweet.
