The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent. What a fun place to go, especially nice to have plenty of parking and a fun street to walk around afterwards. We had the steak/frites with peppercorn sauce, the onion soup and profiteroles.

Starting to charge $3 for peppercorn sauce on an already expensive Steak main course, charging $5 for a small piece of bread to go with the already expensive prawn appetizer, plus 9% living wage usually tip… it’s getting a bit out of hand on cost/value

Service was great But matrade hovered close to table, dresses sloppily and set a lower level of dress and set example of other servers to look untidy and not well groomed. Most of staff were groomed just the head set that example. Also they tacked on a living wage surcharge of 5%. Where I have seen maybe 3% from others. I find it offensive since their menu prices are already at top of local market.

I am a regular customer. Food was very good and the service was crisp. The bathrooms were dirty, no soap in wells and no hand towels. It was about 6:30pm and not too busy. Very unlike LB to not be on top of housekeeping.
