Oasis - Saguache

We visit the nearby hot springs a few times a year and always make it a point to stop here for a meal when we're in the area. This is not a fancy restaurant, but the food is absolutely delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything you order.

We enjoyed the best Mexican food we've had recently. The menu features standard options, but everything is authentic. The red chili sauce is spicy, smoky, and complex, while the green chili sauce, although slightly milder, still packs a punch with a lighter, grassy flavor. Both sauces were outstanding. The service was excellent, and the locals were friendly. I'm really glad we decided to stop by!

A fantastic haven of flavors combined with heartfelt, traditional hospitality at an incredibly reasonable price. I tried the daily special menu and was delighted with my enchiladas. The salsa accompanied by the chips was also outstanding. All this for under $10! While the ambiance isn't particularly striking, everything else is exactly what you need when you're in or passing through the San Luis Valley.

Donnie and sister brought me to lunch at Oasis and I had crushed Burritos in Green Chile. It was delicious. Thanks Donnie and Sis.

We stopped here on our way back to Denver. What a diamond in the rough! This place has great food. A must stop on your way through.
